Why we exist
Europe needs better information about China’s AI ecosystem. Not as a threat narrative, not as uncritical tech admiration — but as sober, contextualised reporting that lets readers form their own view.
Chinese open-weight models run in European data centres, Chinese robotaxis drive in European cities, Chinese brands sign German dealers. These are not abstract questions. They are decisions European companies are making now, and most of them are made with less information than they deserve.

He started Inside China AI because European decision-makers deserve better information about the AI ecosystem that increasingly shapes their markets.
